That lets me set a relative volume between those two sub-zones as I usually want the yard speakers louder for more reach. I do have an Amp that feeds two pair of Polk Atrium speakers outside (one facing the deck, the other facing the yard) through a speaker impedance matcher/volume control. I have 13 Sonos zones at my home, but almost all are plug-in speakers. The benefit to one Amp per zone/room is that everything or any subset can be playing something different if you want. It works very well, just not particularly cheap (but at the home I saw that guy couldn’t care what it cost).
